New Harmonies, Roots of American Music, made possible by a grant designated a "We the People" project, by and from the New Mexico Humanities Council in conjunction with the Folsom Musuem. Featuring Bayo Seco, Jeanie McLerie and Kenneth Keppeler, from 10:00am-5:00pm with an education interpretation of their musical presentation.

Hot dogs will be served starting at 7:30pm at the observatory with a star party following at dark. Join in the fun and observe the Perseid Meteor Shower. Donations will be accepted for the hot dogs, proceeds will go towards a new sign put up at the lake designating it as a "dark sky park".
